Discussion:

Chery M discussed the time frame for the City to recognize our unit. We are scheduled to be on the City Council agenda Dec 7th, 2004. After that date it may take up to 60 days to be recognized as a unit.

Things that still need to be done. Non-profit application, PORAC application, and contract with Steve as our labor representative.

Motions:

Sue Bennett motioned to request 100 hours of CPOA timebank to be transferred to CPSA for use as needed.
Second by Lei Upton. Unanimous approval.

Julie Ceccato motioned to file for non-profit status.
Second by Sue Bennett. Unanimous approval.

Renee Anderson motioned for a Post Office box for business. Cost $40.00.
Second by Cheryl Marden. Unanimous approval.

Items to go on a general ballot:

Labor Representatives, Steve Allen and PORAC.
Accept Bylaws as modified.
Accept the name as modified to Chico Public Safety Association (CPSA).
